At the April 26 meeting, we agreed to move the May 10 group walk to Homestead Park in Hilliard. This may be a temporary change -- we won't know until we try it.

FrontRunner is hosting a Taper Clinic at the Upper Arlington store on April 27 at 5:30. If you enter races 10K or longer, you can benefit from learning how to taper properly.

Participants will learn:

• Why a taper is important.
• What to expect physically during a taper.
• How to maximize the benefits of taper.
• What activities you need to do race week.
• Race day strategies.

WALK LOCATION CHANGE
Because the training schedule says 12 miles and the scheduled park was Franklin, the group walk location was changed to Whestone Park near the Park of Roses at 8:00 am.

Whetstone Park is west off High Street on Hollenback Drive just south of the Whetstone Library. Drive all the way back to the back parking lot. We will be walking north on the bike path for 30 minutes, then returning to the parking lot. Come early and stay late for those 12 miles!

Following the group walk we will go to Bob Evans Restaurant, 5191 North High Street, at Graceland Shopping Center for breakfast.
