The Buckeye Striders had a great time at the Community Walk coordinated by Larry Smith August 1. Larry, who recently started the German Village Walking Club, also invited members of the NA Walking Club and the Gahanna Get Moving Team to join the German Village walkers. The group met at Schiller Park and walked through German Village to the river and along the Scioto Mile. It was a nice change of pace!

Before we got started, we had the chance to talk to representatives from Second sole downtown and Saucony about shoes. We could even try on shoes to wear for the walk!

It was fun having the opportunity to walk with our friends in other clubs and to meet new people in Central Ohio who share our passion for walking.
