Sharon and Laura completed the Christmas in July 5K in Gahanna. The race collected items to help provide children and their families with Christmas dinner and gifts.

Five of our Buckeye Striders completed the Halfway to Christmas 5K except for Laura M who completed the Beast Race(1 mile + 5K+ 10K). Laura was already walking when we took the photo. 
Sharon & Paul walked in the "Run to the Moon" as part of the 50th anniversary festivities in Wapakoneta.
On Sunday, our club gathered at Cafe DaVinci for our "Christmas in July" dinner where we enjoyed great food and conversation. 

Sharon A, Laura M, Linda R, and Jodi S represented the Buckeye Striders in the Hilltop USA 5K which honors our Veterans. It was hot & steamy already at 8:30 AM when the race started. Many thanks to the Columbus Mounted Police and their horses for allowing us a post-race photo.  

The Buckeye Striders were represented in two Central Ohio Races on Independence Day in New Albany and Clintonville.  In the New Albany race, Steve won his Age Group and placed 2nd in the competitive walking division.  

A dozen Buckeye Striders gathered on Saturday morning at Scioto Audubon for our weekly group walk.  It was a beautiful morning!  On Saturday, we had Striders participate in the Bakersfield Taco Bout it 5K at Three Creeks.
