Cindi and Pat entered the One Lucky Buckeye 8-mile race on Sept. 17. The weather was great with temps in the high 50s at the start. Near the starting line the race gave away plenty of red items that could be worn during the race: wigs, leis, necklaces, sunglasses.. Too many of the items could interfere with a race, so we settled on leis.
It was a fun race, and would have been great if we had walked just 8 miles instead of 8.6. It was my fault we walked the extra 0.6 mile -- I misread a sign I thought indicated that we should turn left when we should have gone straight.
